Bibetta lunch bag review

We often take picnic lunches with us on our family days out to help keep the costs down, so I was so pleased when I was asked to review the Bibetta lunch bag – I knew that we would be able to give them a good test!

Bibetta lunch bags come in for bold colours – pink, turquoise, green and blue, and each has its own fun pattern. We were sent the pink version which my mini’s were thrilled with! They loved the flowers and butterflies on the pattern and butterfly shaped name tag was a really cute feature. I also loved finding out that the lunch bags are machine washable – no more grimey lunch bags!

I was impressed at the size of the lunch bag, it was bigger than many others I have seen – perfect to pack with lots snacks or lunch for a day out. The lunch bags are made of neoprene which insulates the food inside, keeping it at just the right temperature. It also makes the lunch bags themselves really light, which is great for us as I try to keep our carrying loads down on our days out! Another feature of the neoprene is that it is slightly stretchy which would make packing larger or awkward shaped lunch boxes easier. I was able to fit both of my minis lunch boxes in with their drinks, and could have easily fitted a few extra snacks in there too!

The lunch bags are so child friendly, the zips run smoothly and have an easy to grip pull tab on them. Little Mini loved being in charge of her own lunch bag and enjoyed undoing it and zipping it back up again.  The handle was another of our favourite features – it is also made out of neoprene which made it soft and squishy, and so comfortable to carry. There was absolutely no danger that the lunch bag would dig into your fingers when carrying it.

The Bibetta lunch bag retails at £9.99 but is currently on offer for £4.99 – I think it makes a lovely lunch bag for days out or for school packed lunches.

Disclosure – we were sent the Bilbetta lunch bags for this review, but all opinions are my own.
